The Pacers are back to a winning record after defeating the Spurs by 20 points on Wednesday night. Indiana picked up a key road win, handling business in a 116-96 final.
Per usual, Victor Oladipo led the way for Indiana. Oladipo had 21 points (7-12), 5 rebounds, 9 assists, and 2 steals. Thaddeus Young added 14 points (6-9) and 5 boards.
The bench had a nice night, with a solid effort from Tyreke Evans. Evans scored 19 points (7-4) with 5 assists, 2 steals, and 1 block. Domantas Sabonis chipped in a double-double with 16 points (7-9) and 10 rebounds. Sabonis also added 2 steals and a block.
The Pacers shot the ball with ease, posting strong numbers. Indiana shot a combined 46-87 (52.9%) from the field, 17-32 (53.1%) from deep, and 7-8 (87.5%) from the charity stripe. Those by far were some of the best numbers the Pacers have produced this season.
In addition to the great shooting touch, Indiana was efficiently moving the ball around. The Pacers racked up a season-high 34 assists, easily winning the battle. They additionally outhustled the Spurs with 9 steals and 5 blocked shots.
