Milwaukee added a run in the 4th, making it 4-1. However, the Cubs would get it right back. Ben Zobrist hit an RBI single in the 5th. Kyle Schwarber put the icing on the cake, crushing a “Schwarbomb”. The Cubs led 6-1, as the 2 RBI proved to be key.
The Brewers added 3 runs, cutting the Cubs lead down 6-4. Things were tight in the bottom of the 9th, but Pedro Strop came through big. Strop got two key outs, as the Cubs held on for a 6-4 win.
One Great Moment
Kyle Schwarber CRUSHES baseballs. That’s nothing we didn’t already know. Still, check out this “Schwarbomb” that was absolutely CRUSHED!
