Just in the second game of the series, the Cubs have already claimed the series win over the White Sox, picking up an 8-4 win on Saturday afternoon.

Javy Baez: 2 for 5, 2 R
Jon Lester: 5 2/3 IP, 4 H, 1 ER, 3 BB, 5 K, Win
How it Happened
The Cubs offense received another early boost with a four-run first inning thanks to Anthony Rizzo. After back-to-back reaches to base, Rizzo homered on the first pitch of his at-bat into left-center good for 3 runs. Then with two outs, David Bote hit an RBI single into shallow left that scored Kyle Schwarber, putting the Cubs up 4-0. Willson Contreras added to the score in just the second inning with an RBI single to center scoring Javy Baez, making it 5-0 Cubs. After the White Sox tacked on one run in the sixth, the Cubs had multiple answers in the seventh. Willson Contreras homered again into center field that extended the Cubs lead to 7-1. Then Mark Zagunis was issued a four-pitch walk with the bases loaded, meaning it was now 8-1 Cubs. The Cubs were fortunate for those extra runs when the White Sox belted a three-run home run in the eighth. Brandon Morrow got the final three outs in the ninth, as the Cubs went on to win 8-4.
