I know in the past this isn’t something for the Colts to brag about, but with the way this season has gone, it’s a pretty big accomplishment. The Colts won’t lose on back-to-back Sundays for the first time all season. Now wins on back-to-back Sundays will not happen, but last week the Colts played on a Thursday and this week they will play on a Saturday. So, you can say Hey, the Colts won’t lose on back-to-back Sundays for once! That is just how bad the season has gone for Indianapolis with nothing less than national spotlight disappointments.
At 3-11 and 4th in the AFC South Conference, the Colts are a complete train wreck and are easily on pace for the #2 draft pick and possibly the #3 pick depending on how the Giants finish out. Currently, the Colts sit at number three in the draft because the 49ers are hurting themselves by winning all these games now. The Colts have two very hard games left on the schedule when they travel to Baltimore in Week 16 and face Houston at home in Week 17.
On top of all the baggage, not one single Colts player was selected to the Pro Bowl on Tuesday. If the Colts do not receive an alternate and it stands, it will be the first time for the franchise since 1997 without one Pro Bowl player.
Congratulations Colts! You can even commemorate the rare high draft pick with discounted Colts glasses from Arby’s for only $1 apiece, normally $4.
