Notre Dame jumps to #5 in latest AP Poll

SOUTH BEND, IN.– After yet another victory, Notre Dame jumps up four spots to #5 in the latest AP Poll with a 35-14 rout of North Carolina State.

These last two weeks were going to be a tough test for the Irish, playing the Top-15 schools USC and North Carolina State. Of course, Notre Dame crushed USC and beat NC State with ease to jump to such a high ranking of fifth in the country.

The tough test for Notre Dame isn’t over yet with two Top-25 Colleges left in their next four games. This upcoming game on Saturday against Wake Forest shouldn’t be hard at all to win. ESPN already gives the Irish a 91.2% chance of winning the game.

2017 has been a strong turn around compared to last year’s 4-8 record, as they already have three more wins with 4 games to go. It should be fun to watch to see how they finish with upcoming games against tough teams including Miami and Stanford.
