Irish win sixth straight, beat NC State 35-14

SOUTH BEND, IN.– For the second straight week, Notre Dame beats a Top-15 ranked team by a large difference. this time they find a 35-14 win over the #14 North Carolina State.

The Irish were backed one again by the Quarterback Brandon Wimbush who combined for 3 total touchdowns including one on the ground. Wimbush had only 104 yards through the air, but he had two touchdown completions to Durham Smythe and Kevin Stepherson.

Josh Adams continued his case for Heisman with a monstrous day. Adams totaled 27 carries for 202 yards and a touchdown with an average of 7.5 yards per carry. The game put Adams past the 1000-yard rushing mark with a total 1,169 yards on the year. He also has 9 rushing touchdowns.
