Northwestern come up short to Duke for first loss of 2017

DURHAM, NC.– We knew no team could have a perfect season, but the first loss for Northwestern came a bit earlier than we thought. They fell short 41-17 to the Duke Blue Devils in their first road game of 2017.

Passing Leaders:

Matt Alviti: 3 completions, 49 yards, touchdown, 98.0 rating

Clayton Thorson: 11 completions, 120 yards, two interceptions

Rushing Leaders:

Justin Jackson: 7 carries, 18 yards, touchdown

Jeremy Larkin: 6 carries, 18 yards

Receiving Leaders:

Riley Lees: 2 receptions, 31 yards, touchdown

Cody Link: 2 receptions, 29 yards
